Darren and I have begun converting our SuperX's to run E85. (a blend of 85% ethanol alcohol and 15% gas)

There are many good reasons  for trying this but the ones I like are:

1. 105 octane, no more detonation

2. It's a much cooler running fuel

3. Money spent on ethanol stays here, screw OPEC

 

 

All tuning for running the bikes on E85 is done using Tim's SuperXtune program, if you haven't used this you need too. His new tunes for the bike are light years ahead of anything the factory ever did.
